With the support of Callum Anderson, Member of Parliament for Buckingham and Bletchley, the UKAP Foundation is excited to announce our next educational event hosted at the "House of Commons" on 25th of March at 6pm: "Insights and Pathways for a Career in Government and Public Service". This event will explore how our community can get involved in politics, the civil service, and what careers in these important areas can provide.
The panel discussion will feature distinguished speakers from Parliament, public and civil service, offering guidance and insight into the knowledge, skills and pathways that can support such career pursuits, as well as the impact that it can have in building bridges to strengthen our community.
This is a great opportunity for everyone to discover how they can prepare and get involved in government here in the UK; while also highlighting the meaningful ways Albanians are already contributing to public life.
Free event | Register your interest via the form on our website.
Please note: Attendees must be aged 18 or over.
Due to limited capacity, attendance will be confirmed by email closer to the date to ensure a diverse and engaged group of participants. Priority will be given to students, recent graduates, job seekers and young professionals with genuine interest in UK politics and governance, public service and/or community organizing - which will be collated based on responses to a few short questions. Invitations on behalf of Callum Anderson, MP, will be sent to only to those selected.
We look forward wait to review your responses to the questions and hopefully welcome as many of you as possible at the event.
