The application process for the UKAP Foundation Mentoring Programme consists of two main stages: Application and Interview.
To begin your application to the UKAP Foundation Mentoring Programme, please complete the online application form and upload your CV.
Once your application has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging that we have received it. Please allow our team sufficient time to carefully review all applications.

Important information for applicants
Applicants who successfully pass the initial application stage will be invited to an interview with members of the selection committee.
This conversation provides an opportunity for us to learn more about your background, motivations and aspirations, and to better understand how the Mentoring Programme can support your academic and professional development.
Following a successful interview, accepted applicants will be contacted via email and carefully matched with a mentor. The selection committee makes these matches based on a range of factors, including:
All successful mentees will receive a Mentoring Programme Handbook, which outlines how the programme operates and provides practical guidance on building a strong and productive relationship with your mentor.

As of 28 February 2026, the 2026 UKAP Mentoring Programme applications are now open.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so early submission is recommended.
