Dr Leonora Fisniku FRCP, PhD

Dr Leonora Fisniku FRCP, PhD

Dr Leonora Fisniku FRCP, PhD

Dr Leonora Fisniku is a consultant neurologist with a special interest in Multiple Sclerosis and other CNS inflammatory and autoimmune conditions, working at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. She completed her MD at the University Hospital Mother Teresa in Tirana, Albania, before moving to the UK, where she completed her postgraduate and neurology training in London at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Imperial College and King's College Hospitals. She completed her PhD studies at the Institute of Neurology under the supervision of Professor David Miller and was awarded a PhD titled: "MRI predictors of disability in relapse-onset MS patients" at University College London. She worked as a

Consultant neurologist and was the MS lead at UHS (Sussex) before joining the Cambridge MS team.


Her main interests lie in offering a holistic approach to patient care and providing novel treatments, including stem cell therapy transplants to patients with MS and other autoimmune conditions, a service which she leads at Cambridge University Hospitals.

Dr Suana Bono MBBS

Dr Suana Bono graduated from the Medical University of Tirana in 2019. Following graduation, Dr Bono completed a year of clinical practice in the Emergency Department of Pogradec Hospital, gaining valuable frontline experience.  In pursuit of further training, Dr Bono moved to the UK, where she served as an Emergency Clinical Fellow at Ealing Hospital for one year. This was followed by a role as a Cardiology Clinical Fellow at the renowned St Thomas’ Hospital, where she deepened her expertise in cardiovascular medicine. 


 In August 2024, Dr Bono began a training program in Psychiatry at East London NHS Foundation Trust, continuing her professional development within the UK healthcare system.

Dr Klodiana Dervishi Nela

Dr Klodiana Dervishi Nela

Dr Klodiana Dervishi Nela is a Consultant Psychiatrist with international clinical and academic experience. A graduate of the Medical Academy of Warsaw, she trained in Germany, Canada and the UK, including Psychiatry specialty training in the London KSS Deanery and a Registrar role at the Maudsley Hospital (SLAM).  She is currently Consultant and Lead Psychiatrist for North Kent Services at KMMHT. Section 12 and DoLS approved, Dr Nela practises independently, holds an MSc in Psychiatry, leads Balint groups, provides CBT and teaches across BSMS, KCL and KMMS. She serves as both an Educational and Clinical Supervisor, leading quality improvement projects with trainees and students  Her interests include Psychotherapy, Leadership, Medical Education, ADHD and Autism services. She also serves as a BMA Local Negotiating Committee representative, contributing to professional leadership and advocacy.


 In August 2024, Dr Bono began a training program in Psychiatry at East London NHS Foundation Trust, continuing her professional development within the UK healthcare system.
