The UKAP Foundation is proud to present the second edition of A Night at the Opera, one of the most remarkable cultural events of 2026, scheduled for Saturday, 10th October, at 18:30, at the prestigious "Duke's Hall, Royal Academy of Music". This follows the resounding success of last year's inaugural event, which featured the globally acclaimed soprano Ermonela Jaho. This year, the evening will feature the celebrated Albanian mezzo-soprano Vikena Kamenica, a principal soloist at the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet of Albania since 2001, renowned for her commanding performances in roles such as Carmen, Dalila in Samson et Dalila, and Azucena in Il Trovatore. She will be joined by pianists Merita Rexha Tërshana and Igli Rapaj, whose accompaniment will bring fresh brilliance to this operatic showcase.
Duke's Hall, renowned for its stunning architecture and exceptional acoustics, offers the perfect setting for this captivating performance, immersing attendees in the rich tradition of opera. The programme will feature a selection of timeless arias and melodies, promising an evening of artistic excellence that resonates with passion and beauty.
This event, an Opera for a Brighter Future, transcends entertainment with its noble purpose.
